Mountain Eye Media was formed in 2002 to produce documentary media on social and environmental issues for a broad audience. The organization is made up of Producer/Directors Adams Wood and Francine Cavanaugh.

Francine Cavanaugh has worked in theatre, radio and video production for over ten years. Adams Wood has been producing video documentaries since 1996 and helped co-found San Francisco's Whispered Media, The Video Activist Network, and the first Independent Media Center.

Their work has been featured in Variety, LA Times, New York Times, Utne Reader, and many other publications. Their first full-length documentary was BOOM - The Sound of Eviction (2002), produced in conjunction with Whispered Media. Boom has screened at LA's American Cinematheque, NYC's Anthology Film Archives and at numerous film festivals worldwide.
